Born in 1987, his name is derived from "People" and "Police".

In the DS game Phoenix Wright:Ace Attorney, Pipo-Kun is parodied (repeatedly) in the last episode of the game, in which his lookalike is referred to as the Blue Badger.

Pipo-kun is a lot cuter than the one in Phoenix Wright but somehow the sheer naffness of the Dancing Blue Badger makes him more endearing to me.

yes, I must agree... blue badger just is way too cute with his dance... specially since dick gumshoe made him... it makes him better in my eyes...
